About the position

Over the past few of years, we have significantly grown our operations and cooperations with leading global, continental, and national sports IP holders.

Since DreamHack Sports Games recent integration into the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) we’ve amplified our ambitions to grow and expand our cooperations in the Sports Games vertical.

To support this ambition, we are setting up a new department within EFG Sports Games. Therefore we’re hiring a Senior Strategic Business Manager who can manage the financial and strategic development of our existing properties, while also being a key part of any new projects, proposals and acquisitions.

As the Senior Strategic Business Manager, you will be reporting into the Head of Strategic Partnerships. You will have a direct link to all our global IP Sports rightsholders, the EFG global finance team as well as the EFG Sports Games project operations team. You’ll develop and report on the financial strategy of both our existing properties as well as for new business opportunities.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Play a core role in the continued growth of the company, with a focus on financial growth, reporting and sustainability
  • Driving the financial elements of proposals for new projects
  • Developing and negotiating business models for new projects
  • Manage financial reporting and negotiations with clients
  • Challenge the status quo and facilitate optimization efforts across the projects


Your skills and experience

  • 4-6 years of financial/strategic development/management (controller) experience
  • Experience from a similar finance/business development role
  • Knowledge of the Danish tax system (interaction with the tax authorities might be required at some point).
  • Solid experience with Power Point and Excel
  • Experience with stakeholder reporting and management
  • Master’s degree in business, economics or another relevant field
  • Fluent in English
  • Working independently and proactively
  • Experience in esport, broadcast or event production is an advantage, but not a requirement, as long as you’re passionate and eager to learn about the industry
