Product Manager – Community Integrity

The Team:

Our Community Integrity Product aims to create an ecosystem where our users can utilise our services within a safe and healthy environment, away from toxic behavior and disruption of their gaming experience from smurfs, trolls, and cheaters.

By focusing on user integrity on the FACEIT platform, you will be the supporting figure within the community integrity product team, who’s aim will be to improve the players’ experience by detecting, preventing and reducing abusive behavior and cheating and by rewarding and encouraging positive behaviors for both new, and current users.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creating a framework of tools, product features and user journeys, you will enable our players to access a fair, healthy, friendly and positive gaming community, where players respect each other and behave according to a set of defined cohesive, shared and supported rules.
  • Developing the requirements for online safety features and services (e.g. identity verification) to provide a better experience for our players on the platform
  • Improving and evolving our anti-cheat, anti-toxicity, justice system and reporting tools to provide a safer and enjoyable user experience and quality of life improvements.
  • Collaborating with the team to define goals, strategies and roadmaps that will deliver community and game changing results.
  • Supporting connections in our gaming communities and being a voice for players, so the community can become stronger, and their time spent in videogames be more rewarding.
  • Working with engineering teams to ensure we build the right thing and ship it at the right time
  • Prioritizing features based on product strategy and global business goals
  • Understanding how your product is used in market, based on customer feedback, research and data, feeding back into future requirements and product roadmap

Requirements:

  • You are a product person – You have experience managing cohesive product and community campaigns, where you present and shape new solutions and ideas to users and the team. You are naturally passionate about listening to current concerns within a community of users and curious to support, develop and create solutions.
  • You are passionate about the community – You care deeply about the user experience and have extensive knowledge in community integrity, user verification and support, and understand new tools and products to achieve a better experience.
  • You are curious and creative – You are a natural storyteller with exceptional verbal and written communication skills to craft the right messages and engage with different audiences in the best possible way.
  • You are inventive and innovative – You can conceptualise consumer experiences and build hypotheses around how community focused products can impact different results and metrics.
  • You are a team player – You are able to collaborate and work with different departments and you recognize the importance of sharing information professionally and listening to all ideas, to maximise the quality of any outcome.

Desirable:

  • Great understanding and passion for gaming or esports.
  • Prior experience within Community Integrity Management, ID Verification, ID&A or Community Moderation.
  • Graduate degree, or similar.
