The Team:

FACEIT is looking to scale across all departments over the next few years. We have big plans for the future, so we need to make sure we hire the right people who can help us advance to the next level!

As a Product Manager at FACEIT Media, you will face incredible challenges in driving the development, tracking and execution of Tier 1 esports broadcasting, tournament operations and live events. You will own an important part of the product, and you will work closely with our team and our partners to execute ecosystems that create transformational experiences for gamers millions of times each week.

So, what you’ll be doing?

  • Creating & assessing the needs of the esports property at every stage of the process, from conception to execution, and post launch sustainability.
  • Responsibility for the creation and tracking of key milestone deliverables to ensure staff are completing objectives in a timely but efficient and humane way.
  • Creating, assessing and tracking KPIs of each product in collaboration with management and our clients.
  • Working with the marketing department to ensure campaigns are impactful and cost efficient, and oversee and monitor their execution.
  • Creating and operating a fiscal year budget and ensuring that the product remains within that budget.
  • Understanding and maintaining a knowledge of the community that participates within that product.
  • Leading the media team, monitoring different departments delivery dates and workloads.
  • Scheduling each step of the production and marketing process must be appropriately planned and overseen.
  • Identifying and take an active role in the pursuit of new clients, selling sponsorships or integrating partnership opportunities for products

What are we looking for?

  • You are a Product Person – You have proven experience and a true passion for building great esports products with multiple stakeholders. You have a passion for great project design, knowing what works, what doesn’t and why.
  • You are creative – You have an out of the box approach, to envision the world differently from the status quo, with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there. You are a creative problem solver, able to identify real obstacles and viable solutions.
  • You are organised – You aim to set goals, and articulate the desired outcome and work collaboratively to achieve these goals.
  • You are a Team player – You are comfortable participating in production or tournament discussions with the media team. You are inquisitive; asking the hard questions, validating assumptions and producing solutions.

Desirable:

  • B.A., B.S., or equivalent, and PMQ qualifications.
  • Great understanding and demonstrated interest in competitive gaming.
  • Prior experience as a Project Manager, producer, business development stakeholder or competitive gamer.
  • Graduate degree, or similar.
