Head of Talent Acquisition

We have increased our people headcount constantly during the last few years, and we’re aiming to increase this further over the next few years.

We are looking for our first Head of Talent who will report to the People Director and lead the Talent Acquisition function hiring the best candidates our there to help FACEIT grow.

To do this, you will need to be very data orientated, know all the ins and outs of tech recruitment, and partner with company stakeholders

What you will do:

  • Defining FACEIT’s talent acquisition strategy.
  • Creating new talent practices, standards and policies, making sure they are fit for purpose.
  • Improving FACEIT’s employer brand with a particular focus on software engineering roles.
  • Participating in the yearly sourcing planning.
  • Partnering closely with all our managers to help them follow the best Talent practices.
  • Developing our strategy for sourcing technical talent across multiple geographies (in London and remote).
  • Sourcing and delivering targeted and effective campaigns to attract the best candidates.
  • Creating reports, backed by data that shows the ROI..
  • Creating and establishing KPI’s for our TA function making sure there is a clear ROI.
  • Establishing and developing a talent acquisition team.
  • keeping on top of any trends within recruitment and markets which could impact the business.
  • Developing and implementing FACEIT’s hiring approach and business strategies to achieve an annual hiring plan that emphasizes scale, quality, and speed of hiring.
  • Evolving our talent acquisition function to make sure we are always ahead of our environment/industry challenges.


  • Proven experience as Head of Talent within a Tech focused industry.
  • BsC or MSc in a relevant field.
  • Experience in recruiting remote employees for both UK and EUROPE.
  • Experience in looking after a recruitment team with a strong understanding of talent acquisition.
  • Good knowledge of Tech recruitment specifically in Software engineering roles.
  • Ability to convince others of your fantastic ideas.
  • You should have a exceptional knowledge of data, being able to manage Excel as a pro: Vlookup, dynamic tables, if scenarios etc
  • Experience working for a global company.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing seamless workforce planning and global recruiting programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK recruitment market, in particular with European remits
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in written communication, as you will be at the top of our employer branding.
  • Experience in scaling up Tech teams.
