Content Marketing Director

Our Digital Platform Marketing team needs your passion for strategy, your one-team spirit, and your planning skills. We are looking to hire a Content Marketing Director to join us in shaping the future of gaming.

We’re looking for an exceptional content marketing leader who will be responsible for bringing to life the verbal and visual identity of FACEIT through content. You’ll have a passion for storytelling and creating content that builds trust and relationships with a community and also see the opportunity content has to support business growth and conversion.

As a Content Marketing Director, you will be responsible for managing creative teams and thrive when facilitating a creative environment. You will be the driving force right at the heart of the gaming community and understand the content trends and nuances that make this community a forward thinking one.

What you’ll do:

  • Be responsible for the ideation, planning, creation and distribution of all FACEIT video and still content
  • Create an unbeatable year round content calendar that engages the community on a consistent basis
  • Acknowledge and adapt to the different purposes of content creation including product, brand and commercial marketing
  • Be the expert voice when it comes to packaging content for distribution
  • Thoroughly understand and be a guardian of the FACEIT brand identity
  • Set up clear measurement reports to understand the success of each content piece
  • Be flexible and lead on working with internal, freelance and agency resource
  • Effectively work across key internal teams to ensure collaboration is smooth and deadlines are met
  • Maintain knowledge of audience needs, expectations and interests to provide relevant content for engagement
  • Communicate updates and reports efficiently for internal stakeholders

  • 30% Planning and coordinating content marketing calendar in line with business objectives
  • 20% Brainstorming ideas for content
  • 20% Team / agency management
  • 10% Coordinating video shoots onsite
  • 10% Reporting to internal stakeholders
  • 10% Market research

  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful content marketing strategies
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience within content marketing
  • Strong understanding of the gaming and esports space – ideally CS:GO
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel frequently, both domestic and international
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and navigate complex situations with empathy
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
