Business Development Director

We develop unique products for sponsors producing world class esports tournaments and events. We develop unique products for players, partners and game developers centred around establishing and building competitive communities and ecosystems for multiplayer video games. Our online platform hosts over 20 million matches a month, and we are proud to work closely with multiple gaming publishers and developers to keep building the next generation of competitive experiences. The Team

The Business Development team is focused on working with game publishers, game developers and other strategic partners of FACEIT.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Director of Business Development to increase company revenue by developing long-term business growth strategies in the industry.

Reporting to the CBO you will develop relationships with publishers and other strategic partners in the media and gaming ecosystem.

The Business Development Director’s responsibilities include building and strengthening internal and external relationships, managing partners relations, and implementing strategies designed to increase revenue and acquire new business opportunities. You should also be able to collaborate and coordinate with different departments of the company to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with publishers and other strategic partners like media, teams, platforms, startups and brands in the gaming ecosystem.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
  • Directing growth efforts by analyzing the market and leading the development of new partnerships working with the support of different departments.
  • Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Assessing internal and partner’s operations and recommending improvements as needed.
  • Formulating and implementing an account management plan to ensure that business relations are properly maintained.
  • Researching new markets and emerging market trends.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field;
  • Previous experience in business development, management consulting, investment banking or related fields
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of gaming industry
