Our Advertising Operations Manager will ensure the accurate setup and delivery of all our advertising campaigns. They will supporting the advertising team with monitoring and optimising existing campaigns, as well as communicating with key stakeholders & clients to address any campaign related concerns (ad blocking, viewability, ad delivery issues…)


So, what you’ll be doing?

  • Deployment, trafficking and optimisations of display media campaigns (standard, rich and video campaigns) for the businesses various platforms.
  • Planning, management, and optimization of campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Set-up, management, and monitoring of placements, tags, and pixels across platforms.
  • Activate sponsorship and custom partnership campaigns and monitor via data visualisation tools like Looker and Mixpanel
  • Set-up, monitor and optimise programmatic campaigns including guaranteed and not guaranteed deals
  • Technical QA of advertisements and campaigns, technical support, and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Pre-sales support providing delivery and forecasting information, and answering technical questions.
  • Partner with the commercial Team to identify and advance any opportunities to improve performance of campaigns.
  • Generate performance and forecast reports for the commercial department, partners and clients and help lead advertising innovation and process improvement.
  • Analyse data, prepare recommendations, and perform periodic optimizations for the purpose of ensuring advertising campaign success rate.
  • Review dashboards and ad campaign performances in order to generate reports and come up with informed, fact-based solutions that efficiently increase the performance of the business’s campaigns.
  • Generates reports for senior management on proposed calculated approaches and strategies in advertising that will lead to increased sales performance and the achievement of the business’s overall objectives.
  • The AdOps manager performs other duties as they deem fit for the proper execution of his responsibilities as well as duties assigned by the Director of Advertising and reporting to the Product Director

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in monitoring and managing advertising campaigns, managing advertising inventory, and working on ad serving systems.
  • Troubleshooting ad serving technical issues, for example, delivery investigation and third party media issues inclusive of the identification of several tag types, e.g. HTML and JavaScript, and potential issues associated with each.
  • Knowledge of the business’s competitor products, data vendors, industry, third party technology, and market trends.
  • Solid knowledge of ad serving technology
  • Good knowledge of Confluence or similar systems/platforms
  • Solid knowledge of programmatic selling and buying ecosystem
  • Familiar with prebid and header bidding technologies
  • Familiar with the esports industry and terminology
  • Communication skills are imperative.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Keen, eager to learn, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to question and challenge current practice
  • Ability to interpret and work to best practice guidelines.
  • We would get especially excited if you have experience with the following:
  • Familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • If you have a Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in sales, marketing, or any other business related field will be something excellent!
